Pitch Black & Hattie Bea from Washington, DC
Pitch Black is Christine's first published book. Inspired by the events of her father's childhood growing up in Washington, DC in the 1950's, she found a simple baseball story revealed more about family bonds and the significant role of males in his life. She's currently working on her second book also set in the nation's capital.
Christine Jackson posed for a picture with her family and the main character of 'Pitch Black', her father Ben Turner, at the East of the River Book Festival in October of 2019.
