Christine earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from The George Washington University. After teaching elementary science in Maryland, she began her 25-year career with the U.S. Department of Education.

Pitch Black is Christine's first published book.  Inspired by the events of her father's childhood growing up in Washington, DC in the 1950's, she found a simple baseball story revealed more about family bonds and the significant role of males in his life.  She's currently working on her second book also set in the nation's capital.

Pitch Black Connections
